Brookfield Public Schools

The state of CT has switched over to utilizing the TRAIN.org platform. You will need to create an account on the Train.org website and complete Mandated Reporter Training as well as Child Trafficking Training. 

To create an account, complete the following process:

1. Go to The Connecticut TRAIN website (www.train.org/connecticut)
2. Select the Create new account button.
3. Create Account: Enter Your Information:

• Login name
• Password and confirm password
• Email address
• First name
• Last name
• Time zone
• Brookfield Zip code (06804)
• Check the box to agree to all TRAIN policies
• Click Create Account

4. Select “Other Affiliates/General Public”
5. Select “Other Affiliates/General Public” again
6. Click “Confirm these selections”
7. Click “Finish creating account”
8. Account Confirmation & Email Validation

• You will receive a welcome message that your account was successfully created. You will also receive an email from donot-reply@train.org to validate your email address. Click the validation link in the email message within 24 hours

9. Click Continue

To access required trainings: 

1. Under search, click “Courses”
2. In the search bar at the top, type the name of the training to be completed (or click the link for the training below): 

• DCF – Mandated Reporter Training (School Employees)
• DCF - Introduction to Child Trafficking Training
• DCF – Identification & Prevention of Adult Sexual Misconduct Against Children
